Repair is building a national Jewish service movement that mobilizes young adults to serve in their communities, catalyzes service through deep partnerships within Jewish communal organizations, and inspires people to take action through time-bound thematic national service campaigns, digital engagement, and service. Our mission provides volunteers with an increased connection to meaningful service and learning as a Jewish value, builds capacity for nonprofit partners to meet their missions, and deepens connections across lines of difference.
Are you an excellent communicator and detail-oriented professional? Repair the World is seeking a strong writer, researcher, and project manager to be our Associate Grant Writer. This role will function as a capacity builder for the development team through grant writing and reporting, researching foundations to find new grant opportunities, and collecting data and stories from internal stakeholders to support our grant reporting. This role is perfect for someone who has strong writing skills and exceptional attention to detail, is well organized, and excels at project management. This full-time position will be on Repair’s Development team and will ideally be located in one of Repair’s communities (Atlanta, Baltimore, Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Colorado, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Pittsburgh). Qualified remote candidates will be considered. The Associate Grant Writer reports to the Grants Manager.

Compensation at Repair the World is determined based on the salary band for the role and adjusted based on cost of living where the final candidate resides. The ideal candidate lives in one of Repair’s communities, although qualified remote candidates will be considered. For candidates with 1-2 years of writing and/or development experience, compensation for this role starts at between $50,000 - $64,000 dependent on your location. Benefits package includes paid time off for service in addition to vacation and holidays, employer pays 100% for employee medical/dental/vision coverage and 50% for dependents, retirement matching, and professional development funds. In addition, employees that have been with Repair for at least a year are eligible for 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
